Confirm your enrollment by paying your orientation fee and enrollment deposit, then sign up for your Big Blue Nation Orientation. (Transfer students are assessed the orientation fee after participating in BBN Orientation; there is no enrollment prepayment for transfer students.)
If you've already registered for orientation, you can find your orientation date in myUK > Menu > Registration > BBN Orientation Registration. Expect BBN Orientation information in your mailbox 3-4 weeks before your date!
Every student needs a linkblue account to complete the confirmation process. Make sure you have your acceptance letter on hand to activate your account; you will need the username and temporary password provided. The linkblue wizard will also guide you through setting up your UKY email address and two-factor authentication.

After you’ve activated your linkblue account, you will set up your UKY email address. Check your email regularly for updates and important information on financial aid, scholarships, admissions and even your academic advisor!

The University of Kentucky is currently not on a waitlist and is continuing to accept confirmations for the UK Class of 2030. Students who have been admitted to UK but have not confirmed should register for Big Blue Nation Orientation at go.uky.edu/uk30. We encourage students to register for orientation and accept any scholarship awards as soon as possible. Big Blue Nation Orientations for first-year students begin on June 15, 2026. The deadline to apply for on-campus housing is June 1.
The confirmation deadline for transfer, readmit, non-degree and international students remain unchanged.
