Counselor Virtual Event Series

We have curated a series of virtual events designed to help you learn more about the University of Kentucky. These events will provide information about different areas on campus and explore all that we have to offer your students. Topics include an introduction to UK, affordability, diversity on campus, health care program opportunities and exploring academic options. We hope you will join us!

Friday sessions are from noon to 1 p.m. EST.
Tuesday sessions are from 1 to 2 p.m. EST.

Friday, Sept. 24: General Introduction to UK

Tuesday, Oct. 5: Diversity on Campus

Important Dates and Deadlines

Dec 1 EARLY ACTION DEADLINE

The Early Action track is encouraged for all freshmen – especially those wishing to be considered for Lewis Honors College, scholarships or those planning to live on campus. December 1 is also the priority FAFSA submission deadline for students applying Early Action.

Feb 15 REGULAR DECISION DEADLINE; EARLY ACTION HOUSING AND LLP DEADLINE

This is the Regular Decision Track deadline, which allows students to be considered for admission to UK but may not be considered for Lewis Honors College or Scholarships if applying after December 1. This is also the priority FAFSA submission deadline for students applying Regular Decision. The University continuously accepts FAFSA applications; earlier submissions have greater financial aid options as funds are limited. This is the deadline for Early Action Track students to apply for campus housing, dining and Living Learning Program.

May 1 CONFIRMATION DEADLINE

This is the deadline to accept your admission to the University of Kentucky. The enrollment deposit, orientation fee and acceptance of UK scholarship(s) (if applicable) is due on May 1. Instructions to complete these items are found in a student's acceptance package.

May 20 REGULAR DECISION LLP DEADLINE

Students applying Regular Decision who wish to participate in a Living Learning Program must apply by May 20.

June 1 REGULAR DECISION HOUSING DEADLINE; HOUSING PREPAYMENT DEADLINE

This is the deadline for Regular Decision Track students to apply for campus housing and dining. June 1 is also the housing prepayment deadline for both Early Action and Regular Decision applicants.

Students who apply and submit all required materials by the Early Action deadline of December 1 will receive an admissions decision no later than January 15. Those students who apply by the Regular Decision deadline will receive notification no later than March 31.
