Confirmation Waitlist for Summer and Fall 2025 Freshman Students

Thank you for your interest in joining the first-year class at the University of Kentucky this fall. 

The interest among incoming first-year students to be part of the Big Blue Nation this fall has been unprecedented. To that end, the University transitioned to a waitlist for confirmation for first-year students for Summer and Fall 2025 on May 2. The confirmation waitlist applied only to first-time freshmen.

The freshman confirmation waitlist is closed and no longer accepting new submissions. Students wishing to attend UK in the future may apply for admission for a later term at applyuk.com.

Readmitted and transfer students continue to have the ability to both apply and confirm plans to attend UK.
