UK Launches Program to Connect Current and Prospective Students

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 17, 2022) — The University of Kentucky has launched a new program, Chat with a Cat, that allows prospective students to chat with current students.

“The college decision-making process can be daunting. Do you ever wish you could take just a few minutes to chat with a current college student to ask honest questions without pressure or expectations? That's why we've created Chat with a Cat,” said Christine Harper UK’s associate vice president for Enrollment Management and chief enrollment officer. “Our team of current students are ready to share their UK experience and answer all of your questions about being a UK Wildcat.”

Students admitted to UK are able to request a one-on-one meeting with any one of the current students in the program — who represent the diverse backgrounds, experiences and majors in the UK community.
